Lambeth’s Passion Interview

Today I am speaking with someone who I personally love to watch on her social media channels. She is an inspiration in the makeup world and a very positive voice in the LGBTQ+ space. I enjoyed getting the opportunity to interview her. We have an interesting meet-cute 😉 We met several years ago through a networking app for mothers. Our first in person meeting was at Sephora since we both love makeup and the community surrounding it. Since then I have watched her skills intensify and her really come into her own skin. I am going to let her introduce herself to you through her stunning images and meaningful conversation.

Lambeth. A mother and an artist not for the faint of heart, but for those who seek the strange and unusual

What is your passion?

“My passion is individuality; in whatever platform it presents itself in! In my case it’s through makeup and fashion.”

How did you realize that?

“I realized my passion for being different when I was 17, that’s when I learned to be unafraid of judgement. I didn’t start doing makeup until 3 years ago.”

What have you done/are you doing to live out your passion?

“Part of living my passion is doing my makeup every day as a type of therapy, dyeing my hair when I am feeling a new color, constantly changing. Stagnation is the death of creativity.”

What attracts you to this passion?

“What attracts me to this passion is the sense of self that comes from being unlike anybody else. Really taking time to realize all of yourself.”

If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?

“I wish I could go back and tell myself to stop being afraid. Don’t fear being “the weird kid.” Be weird and be happy. Those people don’t matter.”

What would you say to someone who doesn’t know what their passion is yet about how to find it?

“Finding your passion is about exploring. Trying new things. Trial and error. Never fear failure and you could discover anything.”

I have always personally found that the makeup community is a supportive and loving environment to express yourself. Lambeth is a great embodiment of this! Find her on Instagram and be inspired like I am by her passion, talent, and creativity!
